Claim your account
Claiming your account is the first thing you need to do prior to using CUNYfirst. To claim your CUNYfirst account, go to: https://home.cunyfirst.cuny.edu and click on "First time users".
Log In to your account
Forgot your username
CUNYfirst usernames default to the firstname.lastname plus the last two digits of the EMPL ID (e.g. first.last01). There may be exceptions to this rule where the student changed their name or there were duplicate EMPLID's.
Change your password
CUNYfirst requires you to change your password every 3 months. If your password is expired, you will be prompted to change your password after logging in. You can also change your password at any time.
