CUNYfirst i805 (student data) and i856 (employee data) files are uploaded daily by CUNY to Tumbleweed and downloaded daily by ITS. Scheduled jobs are setup by ITS Database Group to load the files into appropriate tables in SALI (student) and CALI (employee) databases.
Managing CUNYfirst Data Extracts includes the following: monitor the receipt of the files and successful disbursement to tables. i805/i856 files are used for various ITS systems such as Registrar's scheduling process (students data) and eAppointments (employee data),

Note: Proving new data on daily basis depends on CUNY's processes. Failures in the CUNY overnight production process are not uncommon.
