Description:

Troubleshoot Portal Account Creation Issues includes the following:

  • Create BC WebCentral Portal user accounts and troubleshoot account issues.
  • Validate user status (active student/employee)
  • Identify issue (local to user vs. campus-wide network issue)
  • Escalate issue to appropriate area within ITS

How to Submit a Request:

 Call or email ITS BC Portal Services.

Turnaround Time:

 ITS BC Portal Services will typically respond to Portal account creation questions/issues within 1 business day.  However, resolution time for advance access issues varies depending on the situation.

Required User Input:

  • Is user a registered student, active faculty/staff?
  • User's/requestor's contact, EMPL ID, and department
  • Type of question/issue
  • How critical is the issue and timelines (if applicable)

Prerequisites or Restrictions:

User must be a registered student or active employee of BC.
