Description:
Provide Linux Accounts for CIS Students includes the following:
- Provision Linux accounts for specific courses each semester
- Communicate credentials to users
- Assisting users with accessing their Linux accounts and help with any technical issues
How to Submit a Request:
- Linux account credentials are handed to students on paper by an ITS Web Lab representative located at the front desk.
Turnaround Time:
- Linux accounts are created as enrollments begin for the upcoming term and are immediately available . Students are communicated by the faculty at the beginning of semester on when and where to claim student Linux accounts.
- EMPL-ID and proof of identity
Prerequisites or Restrictions:
- Must be a registered CIS student
