On Monday, November 29, 2021, Brooklyn College released an update (v6.0/v6.1) for BC Navigator users. Since then, some iOS 14 users are experiencing application crashes. These crashes have prevented affected iPhone users from accessing their Digital ID and green key at College entry points. To ensure access to campus, affected iPhone users should take one of the following measures:
- Upgrade your phone to iOS 15 to continue using the BC Digital ID and Green Key
(Settings > General, then tap Software Update)
- Use a physical BC ID card and Cleared4 personal link.
Check your BC email for a personalized link from no-reply@cleared4work.com. If you cannot locate your welcome email, e-mail RSTaccess@brooklyn.cuny.edu for assistance. Gate ambassadors will also be available at the Whitehead and Bedford gates to address access concerns. If you will require assistance, be sure to arrive early.
- Restore to an earlier iCloud backup to use the prior Navigator version (v5.2)
