Provide and update CUNYfirst accounts includes the following:
Maintain access privileges for new and existing campus users to the various CUNYfirst modules, and functions based on security policies and office functional needs.
Create CUNY CRM tickets, as needed, to track cases and request CUNY action
Call or email the ITS BC Access Security Liaison (ASL) Group.
Turnaround Time:
Typically takes at minimum 3 business days once all paperwork is in order. provisioning Provisioning accounts requiring a waiver to access restricted data may take longer.
Required User Input:
Completed physical (original) CUNYfirst Security Request Form (each CUNYfirst module/pillar has a separate request form) with required signatures i.e. User's, Manager's and Business Owner(s') - Registrar, Admissions (Grad/UG), Bursar, Financial Aid (if applicable to the role(s)).
Restricted roles may only be assigned by CUNY-CIS. User's manager or the Business Owner, must send an email to the CUNY SME from the applicable area i.e Registrar, Admissions (Grad/UG), Bursar, Financial Aid, to obtain an approval on user's behalf.
Users who are taking courses at BC cannot get access to certain types of restricted information without an approved CUNY Non-Public University Data Access Waiver Form, which must be submitted to ITS by their area head. You may contact ITS to obtain a copy of the required forms.
