Description:

Provide and update CUNYfirst accounts includes the following:

  • Maintain access privileges for new and existing campus users to the various CUNYfirst modules, and functions based on security policies and office functional needs.
  • Create CUNY CRM tickets, as needed, to track cases and request CUNY action

Note: All CUNYfirst Security Request Forms (for various pillars) are located in the CUNY website: http://www.cuny.edu/about/administration/offices/CIS/security/cunyfirst.html .

How to Submit a Request:

Call or email the ITS BC Access Security Liaison (ASL) Group.

Turnaround Time:

Typically takes at minimum 3 business days once all paperwork is in order.  provisioning  Provisioning accounts requiring a waiver to access restricted data may take longer.

Required User Input:

Prerequisites or Restrictions:

  • Users who are taking courses at BC cannot get access to certain types of restricted information without an approved CUNY Non-Public University Data Access Waiver Form, which must be submitted to ITS by their area head.   You may contact ITS to obtain a copy of the required forms.
