Brooklyn College ITS has a set of tools to keep students informed about their transactions and campus life via SMS messages. Currently, almost every in-house online system have been optimized to send SMS alerts to signed up users. One of the messaging tools SEMS - a campus-wide email announcement tool that allows authorized departments to send brief messages to the cell phones besides the traditional emails.
How to Submit a Request:
Call or email the ITS Database Group to be able to send SMS to staff or students.
Turnaround Time:
Typically, it takes 1-2 business days to set up an SMS account for office/department administrator.
