Off-campus access to Library databases and electronic Journals must be processed through a tool called EZ-proxy. This is because the publishers want to be sure that only BC faculty and students are using the resources they are renting to the college. EZ-proxy access is available to anyone with an active BC email account. EZProxy is not necessary when using computers connected to the college wired network.
How to Submit a Request:
For access to EZ-Proxy support, contact the Library circulation or reference desk.
Turnaround Time:
Library staff are available for initial troubleshoot of basic EZ-Proxy access issues located in Library office.
Required User Input:
If user is having issues accessing the Library network, provide ITS Network Support Services the following information:
User Login information to check if correct one is used or if user has been locked out of their account
Specific error message(s) user is receiving
Computer IP address
If user is having issues accessing particular database/article/journal or entire site provide specific name of the database, article, journal or entire site.
