Description:

Troubleshoot Portal Access Issues includes the following: 

  • Validate user BC Portal access
  • Identify issue (local to user vs. campus wide issue)
  • Assist users with website navigation
  • Escalate issue to appropriate area within ITS

How to Submit a Request:

Call or email ITS BC Portal Services.

Turnaround Time:

ITS BC Portal Services will typically respond to troubleshoot Portal questions/issues within 1 business day.  However, resolution time for advance access issues depends issues depend on case by case situationscenario.

Required User Input:

Is user/requestor a student/faculty/staff?

  • User's/requestor's contact and department/requestor contact information
  • Description of the Type of question/ issue
  • How critical is the issue and timelines (if applicable)

Prerequisites or Restrictions:

ITS must be able to verify user's identity and user must be a registered student or active employee of BC.
