Area Head Description:

Provide Phone Service for New Faculty/Staff includes the following:

  • Gather information about the anticipated needs
  • Coordinate the best date and time to start the installation/repair

How to Submit a Request:

 Call or email ITS Telecomm Group.

Turnaround Time:

 ITS Telecomm will typically respond to the issue within 1-2 business days.  However, resolution time for this service typically takes at minimum 5-10 business days.

Required User Input:

  • Full name and department
  • Location
  • Role of new phone user
  • Contact information of the requester
  • Telephone service type (direct-interoffice only/local-interoffice and within all 5 boroughs/long distance)

Prerequisites or Restrictions:

 Area Head authorization required.
